Austin Henderson, CPA is a Manager on Advisent’s Tax Team. He joined the firm in November 2025. He brought nearly a decade of progressive audit and accounting experience across Texas and Arizona.
Austin’s career has been built on a strong foundation in public accounting. He began at CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), one of the nation’s largest accounting firms. He spent over four years progressing from Intern to Senior Associate across offices in Phoenix and Fort Worth. That experience gave him broad exposure to audit methodology and client service. In addition, it provided the technical rigor required to serve a wide range of industries.
He went on to serve as Audit Manager at Weaver and later at BrooksWatson & Co. There, he spent over two years managing audit engagements and leading teams through complex financial reporting requirements. Across his career, Austin has developed a reputation for clear communication with clients. Moreover, he is known for a meticulous approach to financial accuracy.
At Advisent, Austin supports the firm’s tax advisory services for clients across mortgage banking and government sectors. He brings his audit background into a tax-focused role where precision and regulatory knowledge are equally critical.
Austin holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Nelson University, where he served as Treasurer of Phi Beta Lambda.
