Dennis Maschke, CPA is Managing Partner at Advisent Assurance, LLP and Partner at Advisent, LLC. He leads the firm’s Arizona practice, dedicating 100% of his time to governmental clients.
Dennis specializes in auditing K-12 school districts, charter and tribal schools, municipalities, and special districts. He oversees government audits from start to finish — supervising staff, compiling financial statements, managing client relationships, and assessing client needs. He also performs single audits, state-specific compliance procedures, and expenditure limitation reports.
Dennis is a recognized voice in Arizona’s government finance community. He has spoken at GFOAz, AASBO, and ASCPA conferences and has been published in the ASCPA magazine. He participates as a GFOA PAFR Program reviewer and actively teaches staff on upcoming GASB pronouncements and audit standards.
Before Advisent, Dennis Maschke, CPA spent 13 years as a Principal at CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), building deep expertise in governmental accounting across Arizona. He holds a BA in Accounting from Michigan State University and an MBA in Accounting from Davenport University.
