Sarah Scanlan, CPA is a Manager at Advisent with over ten years of progressive experience in audit, financial analysis, and accounting management. She joined Advisent in 2021. Moreover, she brought deep expertise in mortgage banking audit built at some of the industry’s leading firms.
Before Advisent, Sarah spent nearly four years at Richey May & Co., LLP. During her tenure, she led audit engagements for mortgage banking clients. In addition, she managed AML Agreed-Upon Procedures teams, and oversaw HUD LEAP filings, MERS AUP engagements, and GNMA compliance testing.She also served as Finance Accounting Manager at Regional
West Health Services. In this role, she coordinated financial statements for seven corporate entities. Furthermore, she managed a team of twelve.
Her technical range spans financial statement audits, 401k plan audits, AML, MERS, GNMA, and HUD compliance. As a result, she is one of the most versatile audit professionals on the Advisent team.
She holds a BS in Business Administration and Accounting from Colorado Christian University. She graduated with a 3.9 GPA.
