Mark Wilson, CPA is the CEO and founder of Advisent, a private equity–backed CPA and advisory firm built for entrepreneurs and industry leaders. He drives the firm’s vision, strategy, and expansion across audit, tax, and advisory services.
Mark founded Advisent after scaling CWDL into one of the nation’s fastest-growing CPA firms. Inc. 5000 recognized CWDL multiple times. Inside Public Accounting named it a top-growing firm in both 2023 and 2024.
Before Advisent, Mark founded GEMC, a private mortgage bank in San Diego. He also served as CFO for several financial services firms. That experience gives him a rare client-side perspective — he bridges the gap between entrepreneurs and financial disciplines.
Mark has supported San Diego’s entrepreneurial community for nearly a decade. He serves on the Board of Directors of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) San Diego. He currently serves as Chapter President for the 2025–2026 fiscal year.
